Game Rules

1. The entry fee per team picked is £3.

2. You must be over 18 to play on football chances. By accepting the terms and conditions you are accepting that you are over 18 years of age.

3. You must be registered with football chances in order to play any games.

4. Football Chances will take the results of the games as stated on www.bbc.co.uk only. No other source or reference will be used unless otherwise specifically stated. Results will be taken to a minute figure only as shown on www.bbc.co.uk.

5. The final decision on the winners and results will be made by football chances only.

6. The total prize fund of each game will be 75% of the entry pot.

7. The games will be closed ahead of the kick off of the first relevant match on the relevant weekend. Depending on kick off times, the games may close at a different time each week.

8. Every effort is made to ensure that all the teams that are made available for selection are due to be playing within the timeframe of the game. However, football chances cannot be held responsible for late postponements. Players are advised to check fixtures before playing.

9. If a game involving a team selected by a player has begun, money will not be refunded in the eventuality of abandonment for whatever reason.

10. If no player selects a team that wins a particular game then the player who has selected the next closest team is declared the winner(s). E.g. the first goal scored might be Mansfield on 2 minutes. If no player has selected Mansfield then the winner would be the player who has selected the second fastest goal, and so on.

11. If two or more teams share the winning time and these teams have both been selected by players, the jackpot will be shared equally.

12. If two or more teams share the winning time but only one of these teams has been selected by a player, the jackpot will go to the one player who has selected one of these winning teams.

13. If no goals are scored then the jackpot will be shared equally amongst all participants.

14. If there are no red cards awarded then all red card games will take the first yellow card awarded to determine the winner(s).

15. If there are no yellow cards awarded then all yellow card games will take the first goal scored to determine the winner(s).

16. If there are no penalties scored then all first penalty scored games will take the first goal scored to determine the winner(s).

Privacy Statement

1. Data collected as part of the registration process will not be passed onto any third party except if required by law.
